I hope you all are doing well with the cold winter weather. A lot of us will be impacted in the Midwest United States. Thinking about the snowstorm that we will be receiving makes me think about 15 years ago, when I was sitting in a living room with my then four year old youngest son. He was playing with his Thomas the Train engine toys. He had his train track set up all over the living room floor, and he was mesmerized with his train activity.
So I observed him, and started thinking, it would be great to have something that I could be mesmerized with. I got out my computer and started writing a story about my little boy playing with his train toys. That was the beginning 15 years ago this season of the LipreadingMom.com blog.
Two years after that, I started the Lipreading Mom YouTube channel. And just a few months ago, I started the Deafinitely Talking podcast, which features interviews with people in the D/deaf and hearing loss communities and all the amazing work that they are doing to spread awareness as well as the creative projects that they are taking on.
I want to thank you all for 15 years of support. I wish you well, and please stay warm if you will be impacted by the winter weather.

Congratulations on your blogging anniversary. š
Thank you, Liz! I appreciate your support.
