Did you know that deafness doesn’t stop many of us from enjoying music?
I am excited to welcome the newest guest on the Deafinitely Talking podcast, Jeremy Chow. Jeremy is the founder of Tactus, and he is on the cutting edge of making music accessible for all by designing wearable technology that translates music into vibrations.
Inspired by collaboration with ASL professor, Deaf dancer and choreographer Laurie Achin, the Tactus vest converts music into tactile sensations, allowing users to feel different frequencies and instruments.
The product evolved from much D/deaf and hard of hearing community feedback and is designed to be discreet and comfortable. Learn more at https://www.tactusmusic.com/.
