A Few Words About My Book, Lip Reader

I prefer to use this blog as a forum for sharing about my life as Lipreading Mom. So bear with me as I make one teeny-tiny exception to that rule.

Throughout the month of May, I am donating 50 percent of sales from my book, Lip Reader, to the Hearing Loss Association of America (HLAA). This is a novel about a multigenerational family coming to terms with its hearing loss in Oklahoma during the 1980s. The narrator, Sapphie Traylor, is a 12-year-old girl coming of age in a world of hearing loss, sign language, and lip reading.

Order the book directly from me, and receive an autographed copy and keepsake bookmark, plus the satisfaction of knowing you are supporting HLAA, an amazing organization that helps people with hearing loss in the United States.

The book retails for $14.99, plus $3 shipping. I will donate $7.50 per book to HLAA.

Lipreading Mom thanks you for the support!
