With 2014 coming to an end and a new year ahead, Lipreading Mom wants to take a moment to celebrate your ears. It is too easy to hide our hearing aids, BAHAs (bone-anchored hearing aids) or cochlear implants behind hair. I did that for two years. But something encouraged me in 2014 to show off my royal blue hearing aids.
You.
In the past week alone, Lipreading Mom received these Show Me Your Ears photos below from blog followers around the world.

Gary and Sue Gnat show off their ears: Gary’s BAHA (bone-anchored hearing aid), top left; and Sue’s Phonak Audeo hearing aids, top right. The new blue hearing aids at the bottom are worn by Aaron Nazelrod. Lipreading Mom loves your style!
Thank you for your courage, style…and your EARS.
If you haven’t yet sent your ear photo to Lipreading Mom, visit my Show Me Your Ears page to find out how. I would like to spotlight your pic in 2015.
Cheers to you and your new year’s ears!
This was a really cute post, thank you! I recently read an article on Martin Luther King Jr., civil rights, and hearing loss that I think you and others might find interesting: http://bit.ly/MLKHearingLoss
